| We are expecting a baby for September 2010, so won't be travelling for the next few months.
We are planning to spend our August vacation 2011 in New York City. We are looking for an apartment centrally located in the city, for 3 or 4 weeks next summer.
If NYC does not work, we would also like a country house somewhere in France or Italy, preferably with pool, for July or August 2011.

| We had the pleasure of 3 exchanges over the course of 5 weeks during summer 2010 - Boston, MA; Exeter, NH; and Northampton, MA. It was fantastic, the kids loved exploring the new houses, neighbourhoods, toys (not necessarily in that order) and a good time was had by all.
Our next scheduled family trip is Dublin for Christmas/New Years period. However, since we did 2 non-simultaneous exchanges this summer we do not currently know if we will be able to do simultaneous exchanges this Christmas as these 2 families might want to stay in our house this Christmas (one pre- and one during and after Christmas). We'll know more about this in September.
For summer 2011, we're open to offers and although we always have a longer holiday in either America or Ireland every summer, we are open to other destinations, especially off the beaten path ones e.g. Morocco, Baltics, Scandinavia, Balkans etc.
Something to bear in mind - we are interested in considering a more long term exchange in Ireland, 1-2 years, somewhere in the 2012-2015 time frame. I know... it's a long time away, but for that sort of exchange it will help to plan well in advance and potentially do a short term exchange (or 2) beforehand. |
