Our home is in a three apartment building. Our flat is on the middle floor. It is bright and cosy and has been renewed all over in the last 4 years. We have a big kitchen, living room with sofas, TV, diner table and ocean view. A master bedroom with King size bed and TV. One bedroom with a Queen size bed and TV and two children rooms, big and small. We have wireless internet connection and access to over 30 TV stations including all the icelandic ones. Outside we have a very nice garden with a patio, big trampoline and a big lawn. The garden is shared with our nice neighbors. Our car included in the home exchange is a Toyota RAV4 2006. It has a four wheel drive but is not automatic. It is a nice car to travel in around all of Iceland or just to go around Reykjavik.

Our home is in the small town af Seltjarnarnes. The landscape of Seltjarnarnes is surrounded by the ocean on the north, west, and south coastlines. To the east Seltjarnarnes borders with Reykjavik, Iceland´s capital. Seltjarnarnes prides itself with the amazing bird life within the town limits. About 106 different bird species have stayed in the area for shorter or longer time periods. The coastline and beaches of Seltjarnarnes is also occupied with a variety of bird life and unique flora. The Sports Center is responsible for the 25m long outdoor swimming pool with 3 hot tubs, sauna and special children pool and a water slides. 3 indoor gymnasium, and outdoor soccer fields and a first class fitness center. A 9 hole golf course is located in the towns. The course is open to the public but call for tee times. All this is within 10 minutes walking distance from our house. Reykjavik town center is within 30 min walk. A bus stops in a 2 minute walking distance, taking you to Reykjavik center in 10 minutes - www.bus.is . Our neighborhood is quiet and friendly. There is a convenient store next door open every day from 11 am to 11 30 pm. A very nice shopping center is within 10 minute walk with a great supermarket, bakery, post office, bank, drugstore, library and more.

My name is Thea. I am a yoga teacher, Zumba instructor and a makeup artist. My husband Joi is a dance teacher, dancer and a radio promotion manager. We have in all 5 children. Two of them are 21 year olds. One is a 16 years old student. One is 8 years old and the youngest is 3 years old. The three youngest live with us in Seltjarnarnes and will be coming with us on our home exchange holiday. We run our own company where we teach yoga, Zumba, line dance and ballroom dancing. Joi also works for Bylgjan, Iceland´s most popular radio station as a promotion manager. We are just over 40 years old and we love traveling, dancing, good food, upbringing of children, nature exploring and healthy living. We have proudly been renewing our flat and we love having cozy moments at home when we are not teaching and working.
