Vårt hem
Our apartment is very comfortably and attractively furnished. We cook, so the kitchen is well-outfitted. We read, so there are books everywhere (neatly on bookshelves!) Downstairs, there is a large bedroom with a kingsize bed and a study with a an aerobed that can sleep one or two along with a bath with jacuzzi. Upstairs is a large living room with stereo and TV, fireplace,and a big newly renovated kitchen/dining room, and a half-bath. We have a small garden with a sitting area overlooking other yards full of beatifful trees.. The apartment is located in the most desirable part of Park Slope, a trendy and interesting neighborhood with excellent restaurants and shops.

Vårt grannskap
As we say in New York, Brooklyn is the new Manhattan. There are lots of great restaurants, less expensive tha Manhattan, and more opening all the time. There is a theatre/opera house, movie theatres, galleries, a major museum, and great shopping within walking distance. Brooklyn is a series of distinct and fascinating neighborhoods, worth visiting in their own right. However, most people come to New York for Manhattan, and in three subway stops, or a 15 dollar cab ride, you're in lower Manhattan. It takes less time to get to Manhattan from Brooklyn than to get crosstown at times! At the end of the day, you can relax in quiet, leafy Park slope.

Om Oss
Robert is a real estate professional, and Jill is a psychologist. We love to travel, and are looking forward to exploring home exchange. We are homebodies in some respects, and like the idea of opening our very relaxing home to others, as well as travelling in a more relaxed way.
We have a dog who goes away when we do, and two young cats who will need to be fed while you are here. They are quite shy, and don't require much attention.
